Founded by Geoffrey Chong Khim Siong in 1985, KECOJO Enterprise started with humble beginnings as a book distribution company. Committed to education and schools in Singapore, the company focused its efforts on providing textbooks, assessments, and other educational resources to strengthen the academic prowess of Singapore schools. Geoffrey’s eldest son, Kelvyn Chong, joined the company in 1990, growing the company and expanding its scope to include stationery sales, both locally and regionally. Much of KECOJO’s success was funneled back to education, funding the tertiary education of Geoffrey’s three children in the USA. Geoffrey named the company after his three children; Kelvyn, Colin and Jocelyn
Armed with strategic US and global experience, the company was renamed Kocojo Pte. Ltd. in 2016, with Kelvyn Chong at the helm as Director and President. Together with his younger brother, Colin Chong, as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, KECOJO shifts gears, taking the company into a new era of product development and consulting while retaining its commitment to further Singapore’s prowess in helping local companies transform innovation and research into viable products to improve the lives of its people.
